College Inc.

1. They cant pass laws because the person is too dumb to check into it further its their fault, and they cant blame the business. That would be like saying telemarketing illegal, which wouldn't really upset anybody. People should just look into things further other than just listening to a guy on a phone. That guy could be and probably is reading of a script.
2.When people who wouldn't be accepted into another college is accepted into Phoenix University and take out a student loan, drops out they still have to pay that student loan. Since the student dropped out, the university doesn't have to spend money to teach them. And since it's an online school, more and more people apply to get an "education" quickly, and on their own time.
3.If colleges are more interested in how many students they can enroll instead of the quality of the education the students are receiving, the effects are not good. If that happens then the future products and services you receive will not be up to standards, because the people we not properly trained. One example is one that we talk about a lot in class. If you need a heart transplant, would you want someone who got their degree online and has never been in a hospital, and gets quesy around blood? Or would you want a doctor who worked has an intern in a hospital and went to a school like Vanderbilt? Think about that.

Happy Meals

The idea for making it illegal for fast food franchises to sell a toy with a kids meal is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's not the toys that are causing the problems with obesity, it's the parents that don't discipline the kids. The parents should be able to control their children and tell them what they can and cannot have. The fast food franchises should not be held reliable for the people that can't control thierselves, and keep eating. They should get some self control.

Tornados

If it was my junior prom, I would probably not go when there was a tornado warning in effect for my area. That night I actually had a tree fall in my yard, and it could have easily hit my house, but it fell the other way. I was still glad that I was at my house though in case it did hit. So I would not go to the prom.

If it was my senior prom, I might go depending on how far away the tornado was, because if it was far enough away I would go to the prom because the school gym, is a safer place to be than at my house. Plus my dad would tell me to go.
